Funding Fomo After Signing Up With Code DEAL (2026): Deposit Routes and What They Change
Once your Fomo account is open with code DEAL, the next step is putting money in, and no funding route changes your 10% Off + Fee Cashback. The code sits on the account, and both parts of the offer apply to trades, not to deposits.
| Referral code | Discount | Effective spot fee | Who can use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| DEAL | 10% off trading fees | 0.45% (down from 0.50%) | New accounts, at sign-up |
That 10% is Fomo's standard referral discount, the same with every code. On top of it, the DEAL code owner pays 12.5% of your Fomo fees back in USDC.
Fomo pays no cashback of its own. The DEAL code owner pays 12.5% of the Fomo fees you pay back to you in USDC.
Facts checked on Fomo's help center on 20 October 2026.
Same 10% as any code
Your discount is no bigger than anyone else's. Any referral code takes Fomo's fee from 0.50% to 0.45%, which is the 10%. What DEAL adds is a separate payment in USDC, made by the code owner out of their referral share.
Ways to put money into Fomo
- USDC on Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Monad or Ethereum
- USDG on Robinhood Chain
- Card, Apple Pay and Pay with Coinbase, depending on your country and your account
Fomo trades on seven networks from one balance: the five USDC networks, Robinhood Chain and Arc. Arc is a trading network, but it is not on Fomo's list of deposit networks.
Funding route vs code DEAL
| Way money moves in | Fomo's condition | Effect on your 10% discount | Effect on DEAL cashback |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDC on Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Monad or Ethereum | USDC only, on the network you pick | None | None: a deposit is not a trade |
| USDG on Robinhood Chain | USDG, not USDC, on this network | None | None |
| Card, Apple Pay, Pay with Coinbase | Depends on country and account | None | None |
| USDC moved to your perps balance | At least 5 USDC in, 2 USDC out; free and instant | None | None: only perps trades count |
| DEAL cashback | USDC sent to your Fomo account | None | This is the cashback itself |
The short version: the deposit route decides how money gets in. Your trades decide the fees and the cashback.
What does change your costs
The network you trade on, not the one you deposit on. On Solana, Fomo pays the gas, priority fees and token rent. On Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain and Arc, a network fee is added and shown in the quote. Because all seven networks share one balance, a deposit on one network can pay for a trade on another.
Trade size on Solana. Solana trades under 190 USDC carry a fixed or minimum fee, so a small deposit can't show the 0.45% rate there. On the other six networks, a regular token's Fomo fee is a rate, with the network fee on its own line.
Costs outside Fomo. A fee charged by the exchange or wallet you send from is not a Fomo trading fee, so the cashback does not count it.
Worked example: from deposit to cashback
You deposit 450 USDC. Then:
- Buy a Solana token for 300 USDC. Fomo fee at 0.45%: 1.35 USDC. Fomo pays the Solana gas. Cashback: 0.16875 USDC.
- Buy a Base token for 100 USDC. Fomo fee at 0.45%: 0.45 USDC, plus the Base network fee shown in the quote. Cashback: 0.05625 USDC. The network fee does not count.
- Move 20 USDC to the perps balance. Free, and not a trade, so no cashback.
Total Fomo fees: 1.80 USDC. DEAL cashback: 0.225 USDC (1.80 × 12.5%). It is paid with the monthly payout, in USDC, into the same Fomo balance.
Before you send: a short checklist
- In the app, choose the deposit network first. Then send from your exchange or wallet on that same network.
- Send USDC to the five USDC networks. Send USDG only to Robinhood Chain.
- Arc isn't on Fomo's deposit list (checked 20 October 2026).
- New to sending crypto? A small first transfer is a simple way to confirm the route before you send more.
- No card, Apple Pay or Coinbase option on your deposit screen? Those depend on country and account. A USDC deposit is the other way in.
- Planning to trade perps? Perps are not available to U.S. Persons. The smallest position is 15 USDC.
Who pays the DEAL cashback?
The cashback comes from the DEAL code owner, never from Fomo. Fomo gives the code owner 25% of your fees as a referral share, and the code owner hands half of that back. It lands in your Fomo balance in USDC every month, or every week at the weekend after your unpaid balance reaches 50 USDC. The first monthly cashback is planned for the first week of November 2026. Payouts already sent to DEAL users: seven of $50.00 each on 20 September 2026, and seven more on 17 October 2026.
